Fight Depression and Fatigue Naturally

Today we are going to teach you

about a natural and effective way to fight depression and

fatigue.

Besides its physical health benefits, exercise is often said to

help people simply feel good. And a growing number of studies

are showing that these mood-boosting effects may even fight

clinical depression.

Researchers found that walking for 30 minutes each day quickly

improved the patients' symptoms--faster, in fact, than

antidepressant drugs typically do. The results indicate that, in

selected patients with major depression, aerobic training can

produce a substantial improvement in symptoms in a short time.

Previous studies have suggested that exercise is a potent

mood-booster, and some research indicates that for some patients

regular activity may be a better depression treatment than

psychotherapy or medication. Exactly why is unclear, but

exercise does influence certain mood-related hormones. And it is

also believed to enhance people's sense of control over their

lives.

In one study that compared exercise with antidepressants among

older adults, investigators found that physical activity was the

more effective depression-fighter.

Medicine April 2001;35:114-117)

We are not talking about running a marathon, just

walking as little as 30 minutes can improve symptoms! I

personally have felt these amazing effects after starting an

exercise program when I have been in a mental rut. Believe me,

it will help you too

How To End Depression Stigma

Copyright 2006 Christopher Green

For many sufferers, depression brings on feelings of guilt and shame and because of these feelings, they will not seek help. But are these feelings valid? Lack of understanding ? both in sufferers and non-sufferers ? clouds the issue. So here's how to end the stigma associated with depression, stress, and anxiety.

1. The majority of people in our society experience psychological problems during their lives: Problems from childhood with parents and siblings; stress at work; marital breakdown; losing loved ones and of course, making mistakes. Very few people go through life without experiencing mental trauma of some description.

So there's nothing odd or unique happening here, indeed, depressive illnesses are as common as colds. More than 20 million sufferers in the USA every year bear this out.

2. These are real illnesses. There's no stigma associated with diabetes, asthma, or allergies for example, so why...

Do Natural Stress, Anxiety and Depression Supplements Really Work?

Unfortunately, millions of Americans currently suffer from the debilitating effects of stress, anxiety, and depression. In the pharmaceutical industry, anti-anxiety medications and antidepressants are among the best-selling medications on the market. The everyday stressors faced by Americans have simply become too much for many to bear, and reasonably so. In recent years, taking an anti-anxiety medication or antidepressant has become as common as taking a multivitamin. However, the side effects and long-term effects of such medications were for the most part unknown until recently.

In the past year, some of the drastic negative effects of such medications have come to light, much to the horror of patients and physicians alike. Anti-anxiety medications and antidepressants have been linked to addiction, severe withdrawal, weight gain, vertigo, and even suicide and death. To treat the symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression, without negative health implications, many are now...

Talking About Depression

In many ways, our society has allowed many people to believe that they can not communicate their feelings to others. Sometimes, we think that no one will understand. We think that what we are feeling is simply not important, not validated, or just wrong. If it was any of these things, we wouldn't feel this way. These feelings can be symptoms of depression.

To work through this episode of depression, you will need to find a way to talk it out.It is always important to consult a doctor if you feel that you are depressed. Talking to a doctor about your situation can help you know what is really going on inside your head. In many cases, the only way to work through depression is with therapy and medications. It is always beneficial, though, to talk to others about how you are feeling. If you have a trusted friend or family member, that is not going to judge you, then you should take the time to inform them of how you are feeling.

By finding a way to talk about your feelings,...
